DA MOON....

.. I am going to try to catch up!!

Cooper has a fascination with the moon. He cheers up when we go look at it and when you ask him "Cooper, wheres the moon?" he goes in a circle with his hand lifted to the sky! Hes been doing this for months. Jen and Fam got him the Goodnight Moon book and he loves it when he is on the moon pages- he uses his thumb to point and points out the moon in lots of his books. He also loves the stars..but The Moon is his favorite... it is so cute to watch him <3

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY SWEET COOPER!

Happy 1st Birthday to Our Precious Baby Boy! I cannot believe a year has passed since we were blessed with you. I will write about your party that we had yesterday very soon as well as a couple other things but I wanted to write to you on your special day.

I feel so so blessed that God gave you to us. Another chance at raising a son, what a gift we have been given.
You have already brought so much joy into our lives in such a short period of time.Your smiling face and laughter and mischievious grins!~You've begun waving and are so cute- you shake your head noooooo and you love the moon- this warrants a whole post. You are so loving and kind and love dogs and animals... I want to take the remainder of the evening to spend with you as well as on a new "tradition" I am working on... so more later..

Little Yellow Chick Chick!

...Oh how Cooper loves thee! You once were a forgotten finger puppet made of a fluffy felt material that Tanner got from the Santa in the mall. There you sat..year upon year, upon year...., until one day, a boy named Cooper discovered thee. A soft yellow body a little yellow beak and red top notch.. little black eyes... he fell in love.
He carries you around with him and rubs you on the back of his head, giving you loves. He watches einstein with you, hes happy if you are in the car with him.. not just a piece of felt no more!He smiles with glee at the sight of you, his little friend. He sucks on you.. teethes on you.... holds you up for the world to see. A boy named Cooper sure loves his Little Yellow Chick Chick!

Cooper is saying 2 new words!

Tanner's in 8th Grade!

Tanner started 8th Grade today! I can hardly believe it! Big Man on campus this year!
He had a good day- His homeroom is with Mrs Johnson( who we really like). He has Math,Science,Language Arts, Social Studies,Spanish, Guitar, Economics(Stock Market)this trimester. We are extremely disapointed that the orchestra program was cut from his school. Tanner has played viola for two years and was planning a third and perhaps branching out to cello.

Football practice starts tomorrow..busy busy!

Emily Taylor Bennington

My Sweet Neice Emily was born tonight! Sept. 5. 2010. I dont know all the details yet but it went pretty well I think. My Sissy is Good, Emily is Healthy and I am SO HAPPY and RELIEVED! I was a little worried. Jen had to be induced, and she was scared of it, and I was a little scared too! So I had my Sissy candle lit with a prayer all day and that helped ease my mind some! I have had a couple text photos of her and she is BEAUTIFUL! I am so excited to have a new addition to our family!
Congratulations Jen, Chris and Alex on Emily's arrival! What a sweet time this is!Indeed.:)

Babies 11 Months Old!!!

Happy 11 Months to the most precious baby time ever!! We Love you Cooper! You are so amazing to watch. You are walking all over like a pro. We can tell when you are learning something you get really intent on it.. your face changes and its obvious you are really learning.You hear airplanes in the house and we run you out to look at them and you look in the sky and get excited so even when you hear one you start "talking". Tonight we watched Charlottes Web and when you later on looked at your animal book you got sooo excited when we came to the Pig picture and looked at each of us like"see I know that"! You are so smart. It is obvious. You are a special little love bug!!! I cant believe next month you are a year old! We are continously blessed and in awe of you!! Love You Baby!

Steps... Steps and More Steps!

Coop likes his new play table!

Yep, this babies taking so many steps! Today he walked seven to me totally unaided!
Hes doing awesome!
He has a mild case of thrush found out at the docs yesterday and sleeping horribly,
but hes a trooper!
Hes been making this funny face where he wrinkles his nose and shows his teeth- I need to get a pic of it- so funny! He especially does it at Dad and when hes up to mischief! He continues to enjoy the pool as he did today..
TanMan has football camp this week and Bucky is one of the assistant coaches this yeat- I guess it was grueling yesterday. Summer is nearing the end and I am not ready! It was 32 in the morning the last couple days. Cant believe soon I will have an 8th grader and a One year old!
Anxiously awaiting the birth of my sweet niece Emily.. Jen is 39 weeks today..

COOPER WITH HIS POM POMS!!





Well lets see.. Cooper had his first ear infection :( and fever that went with it, no fun- it lasted like 4 days..he was so fussy and almost like a different baby.
He also cut his 5th tooth in the process (JULY 31)... he cut the 6th one this past fri (AUG 6th.. the eye teeth).

HERE HE IS STANDING ON HIS BOX.. Love his cute lil Hiney!!






Cooper turned 10 Months!!!!! WOW time flies! He has been standing up from sitting without holding on to anything! He does "happy feet" or "fancy feet" when hes excited.. claps his feet and moves them really fast.. sometimes he dances to it with his head and body..he also does this when he really wants something or wants to not have us notice what he's doing ! Like before he B LINES it to the bathroom so he can try to play in the toilet.. I come running and he just quickens his crawl pace.. lil stinker! He loves his yellow chick..post to come soon about that, he likes to hold the yellow lid to the Medela bottles. Hes also real funny about something- we got him a shape sorter with a lid. He cant STAND the lid on. As soon as he sees its on, he takes it off first thing. Always. Hates the lid on! Ate some waffles the other day. Pretty much still nursing/formula some milk... and cheerios/puffs/melts and whatever we are eating- still not wanting baby food much.Baby Einsteins his Fav still.
As for Tanner... hes just a great kid as usual. I hope he can have some friends over this weekend for a sleepover and go to the teen dance.Hes been reading alot this summer.

The Perfect Morning...

Yesterday morning was one of the most treasured times I have spent with Cooper so far. We woke up at 7ish and I got a cup of coffee and a bottle for him and we headed outdoors to the front yard. It was early but warm as the mornings have been the past couple of days. We put the futon out on the patio to enjoy so Cooper and I sat there. He snuggled into my neck and I just held him for a long time, he was so still I thought he had fallen asleep. Suddenly the yard came to life, so many birds and all their calls were heard.A hummingbird or two would buzz by us on the way to the feeder..to take a drink. We saw two baby gray squirrels chase each other up and down the trees and over to our seed feeder which startled a group of dove to fly flapping and cooing off, chickadees and robins joined the group and were eating the seed.. the chickens started clucking in the back. Cooper was fixated on one thing.... I may have not even have noticed. There were all these little bees,maybe 10, sucking nectar out of our soapwart bush.He was watching them so intently, listening to their soft buzzing sounds.We sat there cuddled up for at least an hour. He was acting tired rubbing his eyes so I scooped him up and went and laid in the hammock where I nursed him in the soft sunlight to a peaceful slumber. I laid there and watched more birds and squirrels and all the activity, very at peace. When I would look at my baby son with the sunlight beams peeking through the tops of the trees onto his white hair and beautiful face... my heart felt full,complete, this is where I wanted to be.

Coopers First River Trip & Other Happenings!

.. Today we went to the Deschutes River( all within about 30 min from us)where the Wickiup Reservoir spills in and went fishing. Tanner and Bucky were fishing.Buck caught a trout on like his first cast :) Lucky!Cooper and I hung out on the bank where it was real shallow. He played with rocks he found and splashed his feet and hands in the water. He didnt like it when I set him down in it- it is still pretty dang cold! We ate lunch out there and Cooper ate little bites of my turkey.
Last night as well as tonight ( leftovers!) he ate little bites of pork loin and potatoes and carrots that I cooked really soft in the crock pot( you know I am a choking freak!)LOL! It was a fun day and beautiful out.

Tonight when I bathed him in his baby bath ( in the shower)I added extra bubbles and he decided it would be really fun to keep putting his face in them and come up with bubble face! He did this over and over again happy that we were playing a game as each time I was shocked and laughed and wiped his bubbles off- he's so cute.

** Fourth of July **

We went over to some friends of ours house Fred and Carole. We had a bbq and the kids let off fireworks, Coop loved watching them! Once we were home we let off some more that we had- fun time!!!!!

Father's Day!

Buckys first Fathers Day with Cooper and Tanner turned out great! Despite Coop and I having a sniffle. We went to Red Robin for dinner then we went to the Merle Haggard concert at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre... It was really fun- we layed out the blankets and we sat on a grassy hill and Tanner and Cooper kept rolling down it.It was great to watch the two of them! Thank you Bucky for giving me such wonderful boys! I love all three of them!

Tanners End Of Year Orchestra Concert!

He played great!! He and Will did a duet and they played awesome! Tanner also received an award from his teacher for most improved player! Yeah Tanner!! I love him playing the viola and am very proud of him!

Baby Steps!

Cooper took 3 steps today! He let go and took 2 to Daddy's arms... then again let go and took 1 more unaided step to Daddy's arms...YAY COOPER!!!!!! <3

End of Season Baseball Party...!!!

Wow this was SUPER FUN!!!!! We had it at Fort Rock Park and every parent brought something to share to eat! Yum! It was a great time! Coach ( Buck) said something about each kid and their season- it was awesome! We had a parents vs kids baseball game too! Yours truly hit a double!!Oh yeah!!

Bucks 39th Birthday.....

...Well we had a baseball game that day so we didnt do much. BBQ'd that evening-had ice cream bout it- he got Merle Haggard tickets for his bday from us!! :)

Baseball Champs!

Okay.. now to sports....! The Giants Majors was first place in Baseball for our League!! YAY Bucky and Tanner!!!!!!!! And of course, rest of the team!!!!!!!! They had such a great season, and coach! :)

Cooper Meets Cousin River :)

YAY!!! Cousins Elizabeth, Anthony and River ( and Aunt Linda) came over before we left Fri!

They drove up from Santa Barbara! I was so excited to meet River as Elizabeth and I were pregnant together and River and Coop are only 1 month apart( he's 1 month younger).

They are also really special to Tanner so it was great to see everyone!

They played great together and it was awesome! I cant wait to get together again soon, Liz and I have very similar philosophies on babies so its cool to chit chat. I miss them! Love you guys!!!!

The Beach and Farmers Market Thurs!

We all went to Avila Beach- Mom, Me, Coop and Tan- it was fun! We went to the Port Pier and had Petes Pierside mmmm Fresh Fish Tacos! It was fun sitting on the patio enjoying it! Then we took Cooper briefly to the beach and Daddy helped him feel the water on his tootsies! Tanner went a little deeper as he and I started digging our fingers in the sand feeling for sand crabs- only he found one this time-drats! Its a competition of ours :)......

In the evening we went to Farmers Mkt- Tanner met up with a friend of his Nikki from Bishops Peak- we strolled around had hot chocolate, bought some beautiful purple sweet peas for Grandma and some fresh fruits/veggies- we watched a wonderful performance from an electric celloist- it was a nice time! Great Day!

OK Back to Cali..... F.McClintocks!!

Its a tradition in our family, so we had to take Cooper to McClintocks for breakfast!

9 1/2 Month Exam and Happenings!

Oh My! I cannot catch up!!!!!!!! Cooper is BUSY , Summer is BUSY! I am still trying to catch up Cali trip and June events... oh well!! I guess it will happen in due time! :) LOL

Wed. July 12th Cooper got his right front tooth, followed by Fri July 14th the second left front tooth popped out..

now he has 4 2 top, 2 bottom and hes working on the top 2 eye teeth..oh wow its been fuss city here lately!

As you can see in the photo he has been standing for moments without holding on to anything!

Cooper and Tanner had a joint doc appt today. Cooper was 19.7 lbs (25th percentile) and 28.25"(40th percentile) and head was 90th percentile. They said its prob nothing but if it continues to rise and not level out by 12 months they want to ultrasound it- but the fact that hes great on everything meeting all milestones except playing peek a boo and waving bye bye- its prob no worry, he'll grow into it- we say big brain, smart baby!
Tanner was on 85th percentile for both height and weight. 5'7" and 140 lbs! He needs to drink more water though!!! Tanner had 3 shots but didnt flinch that big shot!!:)
Coops been rocking out on the floor with or without music lately but definately likes reggae!!! We dance to that! I gave him little bit of angel hair pasta w/parmesan and butter tonight he did good with it- Iam still scared to death of choking!
Cooper loves to throw his rings and toys and plays a game with himself throwing and going and getting them. He loves a little finger puppet "chick" that was Tanners and loves on it. He likes his animal feel book especially the chick and dog! He is getting a real personality!
He's still nursing good, poor moms getting chomped on now and then! And he stills sleeps with me and is up at least 4 x a night!~He loves Woody and Lulu. Tanner and Buck have given him lots of naps in the hammock lately. We got a baby pool and he likes splashing around!
Tans been going to the pool here and there and going to teen dances- and lifting weights for football- since the house is so small they've been clearing him a hangout area on the side of the barn- he put up a speed bag- and has a radio..a real teen! LOL! Love the Boys so much!

YAY!! Crawling!

Well, Coopers been army or belly crawling all over the place the past couple weeks but the psat couple days hes been pulling up on stuff and even "stood" for a second without holding on 2 nights ago..well tonight ( July. 8.2010) he mastered the hands and knees crawl and started crab walking too while he was showing off :)... YAY! Hes such a cutie!

BBQ at the Robinsons!!

Was so FUN! Aunt Clover and Uncle Brian had us over to there new house in SLO and we BBQ'd(well Brian did!) It was great and a fun time- the kids went wild and we had a good dinner!I didnt get pics of everyone( which bums me out) But Aunt Bonnie and cousins David,Corey,Elsie and Berdell were there.. Aunt Cassie and cousin Violet( and new baby girl in the belly!)..Clover and Bri and Cousins Gwen and Camille- Brian even assembleda bounce house !

Brians parents also came over-Thank you for a fun time everyone! We have to do it again!
