Coop De Doop...

Okay, is he not cute?!

He has been going frontwards in his walker now too and he has been babbling all sorts of new sounds! Hes still trying to push those teethers out.. ;) He also drops toys on purpose so we'll pick them up for him! He is trying some new foods and loves avocados and baby banana yogurt!

Hes got a great personality and loves to smile!

Tanner Makes Honor Roll...

We are so super proud of him! He has a 4.0... We went to conferences and it was posted right on the wall the 6 7th graders that had 4.0's! He works hard at everything he does. Even with after school sports( wrestling) he managed to make a 4.0.He also has perfect attendance. We are blessed to have such an amazing talented son. Hes a great example for his little brother.

Coops Girlfriend! :)

Well... sorda. When we were at districts I saw this girl with a baby what I thought was about Coops age so I went over to talk to her.She was 91/2 mo..small though like Coops size and was taking a few steps..anyways

COOPER LOVED HER!!! He looked amazed that he wasnt the only baby on earth! Its the first baby he's seen! He was "talking"to her and they were reaching for each other so sweet..

anyways her Mom and I are facebook friends now... her name is Preslie...so cute to watch their interaction! I wish they lived closer!

It's a Girl!

... YAY! Jennifers having a girl! I am soooooo excited! A sweet new neice!

Teething Trouble!

Whew Coopers been a little out of sorts these days, he's trying to cut his two bottom teeth we can see them just below his gumline. Poor babe-hes chewing everything and loves when I feed him frozen applesauce.

Hes really getting mobile too... rolling so much and trying to scoot by getting up on his feet while on belly and trying to stand... he also likes to suck his toes :) Guess he takes after his brother! ;)

We've been watching some older disney films with him, Hercules, Jungle Book.. they are fun for us to rewatch too!!

Renaissance Feast!

The 7th grade class at Tanners school studied the Renaissance Period. Tanner wrote an essay, made a costume, a backdrop and a prop ..he did it on a Blacksmith and got an A.The kids dressed in costume and presented it to the school classes. That evening we went to a "feast" at the school. It was fun.We had chicken and veggies, fruits, cheese and olives that we ate with our fingers..no napkins either! They served us"mead"apple juice. It was decorated great and so many of the staff at school volunteered their time to help serve -setup-etc and were all in costume! It was cool. You can watch Tanner dance in the below video!

Tanners News

I know, I know I LAG getting all this up! Well wrestling went great! It was the first year and we had 6 kids place at districts.Tanner took 8th which out of 20 is good and he went up against boys in his weight class that have been wrestling for numerous years. It was a great program and Bucky taught the kdis well. It took alot of time so its nice its over for now, but it was really fun and exciting to watch and is officially Tanners new favorite sport- Bucky will head coach again next year-if we are still living here as a paid position. It was a great program that teaches the kids towin and lose respectfully..

Cooper Update!

Man are we behind on posts! So much has happened! I will do a Tanner update next ( have to download some photos/videos)

Well Coopster has been eating all sorts of new foods and is 5 months now!
He has tried so far.. carrots, sweetpotato, green beans, green peas( you should see his face when eating these, not his favorite for sure!) pears, applesauce, bananas,peaches and rice and oatmeal cereals. He still nurses for most of his feedings- we just do solids twice daily. He tries to grab the spoon and "help" me and sucks the foods in his mouth with his fingers.
He also started rolling back to tummy now too! So he goes tummy to back back to tummy several times in a row! He loves to grab his toes all the time, his toes are his favorite entertainment! When hes in the walker he rests his left foot every time he scoots in the same place on the bar its cute! He has a bumbo seat and seems to like it-
Tanner walked his to sleep for the first time the other day and was very proud!
Cooper has his first cold/cough right now and night time is awful the past two nights, I hope it gets better fast and doesnt turn into anything bad.
We went out in the sun the other day- he watched our chickens running around so intently and mainly loved us holding him up to standing so he could feel the grass/leaves under his feet.
He is changing so rapidly- Its hard to believe hes 5 months!
Thanks to Auntie Jen for the clothes you sent of Alex's we have been getting good use out of them-see the froggie onesie( which I adore!)
