Salt Creek Falls

Last weekend we drove oh maybe 60 miles and went to lunch on the way in Crescent at the ever interesting Mohawk Cafe that features all kinds of stuffed taxidermy animals and the walls are covered in cased glass full of old interesting perfume and Jim Beam bottles. We like the two headed calf and the wolverine!

Buck carried Coop in the front pack and off we went. It was a beautiful part of the forest. Massive Fir trees, moss and ferns and neat colored mushrooms growing off of old growth trunksIt looked like Avatar, we listened to all the sounds of the forest.

On the walk back Tan and I had fun clowning around with each other it was a fun day.

Today we tried applesauce and Coop loved it! He ate it all! He opened his mouth much more readily than he did for the rice cereal!

Everything goes in his mouth nowadays-each toy needs to be properly sucked on for inspection!

First Rice Cereal!

...Feb 8th we gave him his first rice cereal! He ate a little, most was coming back out of his mouth! We have been doing it all week.

He also likes to try to hold the bottle when he gets one, and gets grouchy when he cant get it in his mouth himself!

Walker

On February 7th ( Ihavent updated in a bit) Cooper tried out Tanners old walker.

He feels so cool in it! He loves that he can sit up in it more upright and he scoots himself backward and has fun doing so ( until he gets backed up against a wall-then he lets us know he's "stuck"!) He likes to play with his toys on the tray!

He likes to suck his fingers all the time and gets frustrated he cant grab his feet and get them in his mouth but he tries! He is drooling so much, the doctor said because of all the mouth exploring he's doing!

Coopers 4 Months!

Coopers 4 Mo Appt & Tanners Wrestling Match

Cooper went to the Pediatrician yesterday for his 4 mo well check up and immunizations. Poor babe! He did really good though ! He now weighs 15.1 lbs and is 25 in long- He is on the 50th % for height, weight and head circumferance ! They said we can start rice cereal anytime we want now.. but we are going to wait a month or so..we plan anyways!

Then in the afternoon we went to the wrestling match in La Pine. TanMan won both of his matches as did quite a few of the team.. its really come a long way and I know Bucky was proud of them!

Last night while doing tummy time on his play mat he rolled from tummy to back three times!

The more excited we got the more cool he felt! He amazed us again this morning doing it again to our clapping! GOOOOO Super Cooper! :)
