Tanners Wrestling..

Tanner has started his first "official" wrestling year. He did a little in SLO with Meathead Wrestling but this is his first time competing.... his first match he lost.. I think it really showed him how tough it really is.. his next two matches he won!
He has the best coach... DAD! He is coaching Three Rivers Middle Schools first ever wrestling program! What a great teacher they have with all of Bucks experience! He goes to practice 4x a week for 2 hrs.. and then theres matches a t least 1 a week.. tomorrow is a tournament!
I know it makes Bucky proud seeing Tanner wrestling as much as it meant to him, and he really enjoys the coaching( except dealing with all of the "antics" the kids have.. he manages to keep patient!).. Tanner seems really serious and has a desire to excel at this.. I am sure he will!
I love watching him, its so exciting!

Cutie Stuff...

Okay Coopers been doing way to many cute things lately!

He has been using his feet to grab onto the center toy of his playmat and his hands to grab the other two toys- (freddie the firefly being one) and he tries soooo hard to roll himself over.. he is so close!

I admit it. I kiss his feet at every diaper change... well the other day I kissed his foot and set it down and he kept raising it over and over again for me to kiss...ahhhhh

AND he had the BEST laughs ever.. laughing at big bro Tanner playing peek a boo with him! It was so sweet. It was his biggest so far- we just LOVE him!

Cooper's Playmat

Well we finally busted out the Baby Einstein play gym for Cooper. He hasnt been too interested in toys up to this point but he really liked it! He grabbed at the octopus with his toes! He played with the rings and did some tummy time on it...

Day before yesterday he did a little laugh at Daddy and Yesterday he grabbed his toes himself while sitting in his bouncer seat. He loves putting things up to his mouth these days. I can see two little white bumps on the lower guns so teeth may appear fairly soon, or not, it can take a long time for them to bust through the surface!

He is also making all sorts of new sounds.. and is more active and his personality is getting stronger and stronger.. he's a cutie pie and is still THE BOSS.. he bossed Dad into walking him for three of his naps the other day... little stinker! He liked to be "marched" around while sung to, hey whatever makes him happy right???

Coopers First Hike!

Mommy , Daddy and Cooper went on a hike to The Fall River Falls! It was just a short hike but fun! Daddy O put Coop in the front pack and off we went.. we bundled him up as it was quite cold! We were walking part of the time on ice.. we saw all sorts of neat things. A cabin from along time ago.. remnants on it.. they hand cut the logs back then. Daddy also pointed out Beaver dens and beaver" chew sticks" along the rivers edge they chomped off the willows and took to eat in the river. We also saw.. well I missed it..a Great Blue Heron. We saw a Cougar track well lots of them.. pretty big cougar too by its stride length.. The falls were beautiful as you can see in the picture.. it was fun. We are going to try to do a hike once a week!

Coopers Three Months Old!

Cooper had his " 3 months" today ! We went for a walk in his Jeep stroller ( thanks again Bonnie!).. it was icy but we bundled him up and went for a walk in the neighborhood, Dad maneuvered him on the ice/snow roads well!..

We then went to the Village and had a burger then I talked Bucky into going to Goodys and I got a coffee bean icecream cone.. ( which Cooper tasted and liked!)

Coops been doing more with his tongue sticking it out some and making spit bubbles and using his hands more and more.. he has grabbed at a few things now.. he is changing every day right before our eyes.. we love him! We pulled out pics of Tan at 3 months, its fun to look at them..

I may post one on here later, as well as I think I will weigh Coop tomorrow.. my GUESS is 14 lbs.. but we'll see!

Christmas Day...

We spent Christmas Day with Grandma and Grandpa Reynolds and it was a very fun time! Grandma worked very hard on making us ( with lots of help from Grandpa Dave).. two wonderful meals!

We had cinnamon pull apart( that Grandma Janet made when I was young) and a wonderful egg casserole and fruit salad with mimosas for breakfast ( It was so good I could of had that twice!).. then we opened presents.. Tanner played the guitar, we had a fire in the fireplace.. In the afternoon we went upstairs and took naps and Tan played on his xbox... We also had fun playing with the dogs and Jody ( Cat).. especially had fun with new puppy Harli. We took some more pictures of Cooper in his Santa hat, I cant wait to see and post here!
We had a wonderful ham dinner with an orange glaze with awesome scalloped potatoes, carrots and homemade rolls and a great salad with pomegrantes and blue cheese.. and some good red wine too... it was a great dinner.. thank you for all your hard work making it! We read some Christmas questions at dinner that was fun too... it was a great Christmas.. It was a special time.

We missed our California family and sis( and fam) in N Carolina and wish we all would have been able to spend it together as well! Thank you everyone for the presents and ornaments and special cards that you sent.. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

Christmas Morning... Santas Visit!

... Christmas Morning we woke up to find Santa had come and filled stockings for Tanner and Cooper with all sorts of treats and some fun toys to boot! Tanner even got a new acoustic guitar and case for the lessons he will be taking. He had recently really been practicing his electric guitar alot and Santa must have known he would like a good acoustic one..

Mom and Dad had cups of coffee with baileys .. and watched the fun...

Then we headed over for breakfast at Grandpa and Grandma Reynolds to spend Christmas Day!

Christmas Eve 2009

Christmas Eve was a special day.. we made linguicia and eggs for breakfast.. then we dressed Cooper up in his santa hat and big stocking we bought just for the occasion and got some pictures of him and Tanner ( Buckys good idea!) I have taken some with my 35 mm camera I will add after they are developed ( know how hard it is to find film these days!).. We made a prime rib for dinner and made some cookies with icing ( cookies didnt turn out the best but what the heck!)..

I also received my very special 19th diamond added to my Christmas Ring from Bucky..! We have spent 19 Christmas's together and this year is a very special with our special sons.

It was a very fun day and we then went to sleep awaiting Santas visit!

Coopers Special Snowmen Collection

.. Tanner has collected nutcrackes for many many years now.. he kept asking me what Coops collection would be and I said I wasn't sure. Tanner decided he would start a collection for him for his first Christmas and went out and picked these out for him and kept it a surprise for all of us! I am so happy I have a sweet son who thought of doing this special thing for his baby brothers first Christmas!
